I want to introduct something about Retractable ball pen EC-177. 1)Retractable ball pen 2) Refill tip:0.7mm/1.0mm 3)One color printing on the clip 4)soft grip with black color In the kidney, the macula densa is an area of closely packed specialized cells lining the wall of the distal convoluted tubule (DCT) at the point of return of the nephron to the vascular pole of its parent glomerulus glomerular vascular pole. The cells of the macula densa are sensitive to the ionic content and water volume of the fluid in the DCT. If low water volume is detected by these cells, they will produce molecular signals that promote renin secretion by other cells of the juxtaglomerular apparatus. The release of renin is an essential component of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS), which regulates blood pressure and volume.Contents1 Histology 2 Function 3 References 4 External links // HistologyThe cells of the macula densa are taller and have more prominent nuclei than surrounding cells of the distal convoluted tubule. The close proximity and prominence of the nuclei cause this segment of the DCT wall to appear darker in microscopic preparations, hence the name macula densa.FunctionSchematic depicting how the RAAS works. Here, activation of the RAAS is initiated by a low perfusion pressure in the juxtaglomerular apparatusA decrease in blood pressure corresponds to a decreased concentration of sodium and chloride ions at the macula densa and triggers an autoregulatory response to increase reabsorption of ions and water in order to return blood pressure to normal. Reduced blood pressure means decreased venous pressure and hence a decreased peritubular capillary pressure. This causes a smaller capillary hydrostatic pressure which causes an increased absorption of sodium ions into the vasa recta at the proximal tubule. Because of this increased absorption, less NaCl is present at the distal tubule which is where the macula densa is located. The macula densa senses this drop in salt concentration and responds through two mechanisms: first, it triggers dilation of the renal afferent arteriole, decreasing afferent arteriole resistance and thus offsetting the decrease in glomerular hydrostatic pressure caused by the drop in blood pressure. Second macula densa cells release prostaglandins, which triggers granular juxtaglomerular cells lining the afferent arterioles to release renin into the bloodstream. (The juxtaglomerular cells can also release renin independently of the macula densa, as they are also triggered by baroreceptors lining the arterioles, and release renin if a fall in blood pressure in the arterioles is detected.) Furthermore, activation of the sympathetic nervous system stimulates renin release through activation of beta-1 receptors. The process triggered by the Macula densa helps keep the glomerular filtration rate (GFR) fairly steady in response to varying artery pressure, due to dilation of the afferent arterioles and the action of Renin, which triggers constriction of the efferent arterioles, both of which increase hydrostatic pressure in the glomerulus.References^ Junqueira, Luiz C.; Jose Carneiro (2003). The show served as a launchpad for the television and acting careers of Johnny Knoxville and Bam Margera. Since 2002, two Jackass theatrical films have been produced and released by MTV corporate sibling Paramount Pictures, continuing the franchise after its run on television. It is one of MTV's most popular shows ever and sparked several spin-offs including Viva La Bam, Wildboyz, Homewrecker, Dr. Steve-O, and Blastazoid. In 2008, Entertainment Weekly called Jackass the 68th greatest show of the past 25 years Contents1 History 1.1 Birth of the show 1.2 Controversy 1.3 Ending and farewell 1.4 Jackass: The Movie 1.5 Life after Jackass 1.6 Jackass Number Two 1.7 Possible return and Jackassworld 2 Jackass: The Game 3 Cast and Crew 3.1 Main Cast Members 3.2 Recurring Cast Members 3.3 Crew 3.4 Celebrity appearances 4 Similar groups 5 References 6 External links // HistoryBirth of the showThe show developed from Big Brother Magazine, a skateboarding-related humor magazine that Jeff Tremaine, Dave Carnie, Rick Kosick and Chris Pontius all worked for, and featured regular contributions from Johnny Knoxville and Dave England, among others. The concept of Jackass dates back to 1999 when struggling-actor-turned-writer Johnny Knoxville birthed the idea to test different self defense devices on himself as the basis for an article. He pitched the idea to a couple of magazines and was turned down until meeting with Jeff Tremaine of Big Brother. Jeff hired him as a journalist and convinced Johnny to videotape this idea and other stunts for stories. The footage, which involved Knoxville being tasered, maced, and ultimately shot while wearing a bulletproof vest, appeared in the second Big Brother skateboarding movie Number Two (which is also the title of the second Jackass theatrical film) Johnny and the videos quickly became a hit. Future Jackass castmember Wee-Man made an appearance in the videos, and Florida clown Steve-O would send in submissions to be part of the videos. Big Brother would go on road trips, which is believed to be where Johnny met Bam Margera and they became good friends. In addition to skateboarding, Bam Margera had recently released a movie entitled Landspeed:CKY which consisted of himself and his friends, which he dubbed the "CKY Crew", in West Chester, Pennsylvania performing various skits and stunts. Among the Crew included the colorful cast of Ryan Dunn, Brandon Dicamillo, as well as Margera's family April, Phil, Don Vito, and Jess Margera. Jeff Tremaine saw the tapes and drafted Bam and his crew into what would become the cast of Jackass. Later, the Jackass crew would personally recruit Steve-O in a Florida Flea Market where he worked as a clown for part of the show. To round out the cast, Dave England brought in his friend Ehren McGhehey, a fellow Oregon resident and extreme stunt participator. Tremaine drafted his friend, director Spike Jonze to get involved with the show, and together, he, Jonze, and Johnny Knoxville served as executive producers. The idea show was pitched, and the cast was initially given an offer by Saturday Night Live to perform the stunts weekly for the show, though the offer was turned down. A bidding war eventually occurred between Comedy Central and MTV, which MTV eventually won. It was then that Jackass was born. ControversySince the first episode, Jackass frequently featured warnings and disclaimers noting that the stunts performed were dangerous and should not be imitated, and that recordings of any stunts would not be aired on MTV. Such warnings not only appeared before and after each program and after each commercial break, but also in a "crawl" that ran along the bottom of the screen during some especially risky stunts. Nevertheless, the program has been blamed for a number of deaths and injuries involving teens and children recreating the stunts.[citation needed]On January 29, 2001, U.S. Senator Joseph Lieberman publicly...(and so on) To get More information , you can visit some products about new pocket watches, aluminium foil containers, . They are most frequently held by teens and may be combined with a birthday party or other special occasion. Another common type of a sleepover is a lock-in, where the participants stay at a public place.Common activitiesTypical participant activities include staying up late, talking, eating and playing until falling asleep, which sometimes never happens for a few energy-high guests. Sleepovers are usually held at one participant's house, with other guests sometimes bringing their bedtime things, such as pillows or sleeping bags. Common activities include playing board games or video games, having pillow fights, watching movies, ordering pizza, eating sweets, playing party games such as Truth or Dare and light as a feather, stiff as a board, building forts out of pillows and blankets, or, for girls, having a "spa night", in which girls polish their nails and toes and put on face masks. Sleepovers are practiced by both girls and boys. Sometimes, sleepovers can have a theme, like dressing up as a favorite book character or a Christmas or Halloween sleepover.v?d?eSleepSleep stagesRapid eye movement sleep Non-rapid eye movement sleep Slow-wave sleepBrain wavesAlpha wave Beta wave Gamma wave Delta wave Theta rhythmSleep disordersAdvanced sleep phase syndrome Automatic behavior Circadian rhythm sleep disorder Delayed sleep phase syndrome Dyssomnia Hypersomnia Insomnia Narcolepsy Night eating syndrome Night terror Nocturia Nocturnal myoclonus Non-24-hour sleep-wake syndrome Obesity hypoventilation syndrome Ondine's curse Parasomnia Sleep apnea Sleep deprivation Sleeping sickness Sleepwalking SomniloquyBenign phenomenaDream Exploding head syndrome False awakening Hypnagogia Hypnic jerk Lucid dream Nightmare Nocturnal emission Sleep paralysis SomnolenceRelated topicsBed (Bunk bed, Four poster bed, Futon, Hammock, Mattress) Bed bug Bedding Bedroom Bedtime Bedtime toy Bedtime story Caffeine nap Chronotype Dream journal Jet lag Lullaby Nap Nightwear Polyphasic sleep Power nap Siesta Sleep and creativity Sleep and learning Sleep debt Sleep diary Sleep inertia Sleep medicine Sleeping while on duty Sleepover Snoring Excessive daytime sleepinessThis culture-related article is a stub. As an evidence of this is a III century B.C. bronze man's head discovered in the village countryside in 1847 and currently stored at the Bibliothue Nationale de France.Starting from the XIV century, the village was under the influence of the Kingdom of Naples through the Aragon and the D'Avalos families, of Spanish origin, which held possessions in the nearby coastal town of Vasto. The name Lipioni is thought indeed to be derived from the Spanish los peones (unskilled labourers), referring to the predominant peasantry condition and sheep-rearing activity of the village's inhabitants. Subsequently, until 1861 the village was under control of the Caracciolo families, always within the Kingdom of Naples territory. Among the most important families of the village is nowadays the Rossi family, lawyers and medical doctors, owners of an important and ancient historical house. The building is now the focus of a judicial process between the heirs of the family.EconomyThe village essentially lives on agriculture like the neighbouring ones. The majority of the working population is employed in the sector, and production is geared towards local and family consumption. The main produces are wine and extravirgin olive oil (renowned outside the region for its quality), along with wheat, corn, cherries, apples, walnuts, almonds, artichokes, tomatoes, and peppers.San Giovanni Lipioni at dusk, viewed from the foot of Colle VernonePeopleAfter the end of World War II, because of severe poverty and high unemployment, the village suffered a considerable emigration towards richer Northern Italy areas, especially in the town of Bologna, where a sizeable community live nowadays. A small number also migrated to Belgium, in the Charleroi area to work in the local coal mines, and France by subsequently settling there. From around 900 units in 1951, the population halved to 457 in 1982, and down to 371 in 1991, according to official ISTAT statistics. In 2001 the total population plummeted to 271 units and as of 2006, the stable residents are less than 250, of which those aged 65+ account for half of the total.TerritoryThe village lies at an altitude of 545 metres. The territory's highest peaks are Colle Vernone (717 m) overlooking the village, and the mountain Il Monte (693 m) facing it. Oaks and beeches are the predominant trees, along with firs and pinetrees. Olive trees are also quite widespread over the territory, followed by fig, apple and cherry trees. Bush vegetation includes several type of wild berries and yellow brooms blooming in mid-springtime. Fauna features increasing numbers of boars and foxes, owls, and a few EU-protected species of kites (Milvus milvus and Milvus migrans) that nest in the woods of Il Monte and its vicinity. The nearest villages are Torrebruna and Celenza sul Trigno at a distance of 7 km each. The river Trigno separating Abruzzo from Molise runs in the valley beneath the village 5.5 km far.Things to See:The historical centre perched on the hilltop with its many old (some refurbished) hard-and-rough stone houses, the maze of tiny alleys, and the XVII-century church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, sitting at the top of a 200+ steps path starting from the pedestrianised main square Piazza Largo del Popolo. It is native to most of Europe, and to Asia Minor to the Caucasus, and also to parts of North Africa.Contents1 Taxonomy 2 Description 3 Ecological importance 4 Commercial Forestry 5 Cultivars and hybrids 6 Images 7 See also 8 References 9 External links // TaxonomyAncient pedunculate oaks at Wistman's Wood in Devon, England.Q. robur (Latin quercus, "oak" + robur "strength, hard timber") is the type species of the genus (the species by which the oak genus Quercus is defined), and a member of the white oak section Quercus section Quercus. The populations in Italy, southeast Europe, and Asia Minor and the Caucasus are sometimes treated as separate species, Q. brutia Tenore, Q. pedunculiflora K. Koch and Q. haas Kotschy respectively.A close relative is the Sessile Oak (Q. petraea), which shares much of its range. Q. robur is distinguished from this species by its leaves having only a very short stalk 38mm long, and by its pendunculate acorns. The two often hybridise in the wild, the hybrid being known as Quercus rosacea.DescriptionAn old English oak in Baginton, EnglandQ. robur is a large deciduous tree 2535m tall (exceptionally to 50m), with lobed and nearly sessile (very short-stalked) leaves 714cm long. Flowering takes place in mid spring, and their fruit, called acorns, ripen by the following autumn. The acorns are 22.5cm long, pedunculate (having a peduncle or acorn-stalk, 37cm long) with one to four acorns on each peduncle. It is a long-lived tree, with a large widespreading crown of rugged branches. While it may naturally live to an age of a few centuries, many of the oldest trees are pollarded or coppiced, both pruning techniques that extend the tree's potential lifespan, if not its health. A specimen of notable longevity is one in Stelmu??, Lithuania which is believed to be approximately 1,500 years old, possibly making it the oldest oak in Europe; another specimen, called the 'Kongeegen' ('Kings Oak'), estimated to be about 1,200 years old, grows in Jaegerspris, Denmark. Yet another can be found in Kvilleken, Sweden, .It is over 1,000 years old and 14 meters around. Of maiden (not pollarded) specimens, one of the oldest is the great oak of Ivenack, Germany. Tree-ring research of this tree and other oaks nearby gives an estimated age of 700 to 800 years old. Also the 'Bowthorpe Oak' in Lincolnshire, England is estimated to be 1,000 years old making it the oldest in the UK.Ecological importanceThe Gyula Juhz memorial tree in MakWithin its native range Q. robur is valued for its importance to insects and other wildlife. Numerous insects live on the leaves, buds, and in the acorns. The acorns form a valuable food resource for several small mammals and some birds, notably Eurasian Jays Garrulus glandarius. Jays were overwhelmingly the primary propagators of oaks before humans began planting them commercially, because of their habit of taking acorns from the umbra of its parent tree and burying it undamaged elsewhere. Mammals, notably squirrels who tend to hoard acorns and other nuts most often leave them too abused to grow in the action of moving or storing them.Commercial ForestryQuercus robur' is planted for forestry, and produces a long-lasting and durable heartwood, much in demand for interior and furniture work. The wood of Q. robur is identified by a close examination of a cross-section perpendicular to fibres. The wood is characterised by its distinct (often wide) dark and light brown growth rings. The earlywood displays a vast number of large vessels (~0.5 mm diameter). There are rays of thin (~0.1 mm) yellow or light brown lines running across the growth rings.Cultivars and hybridsA number of cultivars are grown in arboreta and in parks and gardens. The most common cultivar is Quercus robur 'Fastigiata', and is the exception among Q. robur cultivars which are generally smaller than the standard tree, growing to between 10-15 m and exhibit unusual leaf or crown shape characteristics.Quercus robur 'Fastigiata' ("Cypress Oak"), probably the most common cultivated form, it grows to a large imposing tree with a narrow columnar habit. It is inversely proportional to the deceleration high number indicates a low deceleration. BC is a function of mass, diameter, and drag coefficient. It is given by the mass of the object divided by the diameter squared that it presents to the airflow divided by a dimensionless constant i that relates to the aerodynamics of its shape. Ballistic coefficient has units of lb/in2 or kg/m2. Normally BC's are stated in lb/in2 by gun projectiles producers without referring to this unit.Contents1 Formula 2 Bullet performance 2.1 General trends 2.2 The transient nature of bullet bcs 3 Satellites and reentry vehicles 4 See also 5 Freeware small arms ballistic coefficient calculators 6 References // FormulaThe formula for calculating the ballistic coefficient for a body is as follows:where:BC = ballistic coefficient M = mass A = cross-sectional area Cd = drag coefficient ? (rho) = average density l = body length Bullet performanceThe formula for calculating the ballistic coefficient for a bullet is as follows:where:BC = ballistic coefficient SD = sectional density, SD = mass of bullet in pounds or kilograms divided by its caliber squared in inches or meters; units are lb/in2 or kg/m2. i = form factor, i = drag coefficient of the bullet/drag coefficient of G1 model bullet (G1 drag coefficient = 0.5190793992194678)[verification needed] M = Mass of object, lb or kg d = diameter of the object, in or m This BC formula gives the ratio of ballistic efficiency compared to the standard G1 model projectile. The standard projectile originates from the "C" standard reference projectile defined by the German steel, ammunition and armaments manufacturer Krupp in 1881. The G1 model standard projectile has a BC of 1. The French Gavre Commission decided to use this projectile as their first reference projectile, giving the G1 name.A bullet with a high BC will travel farther than one with a low BC since it will retain its velocity better as it flies downrange from the muzzle, will resist the wind better, and will hoot flatter (see external ballistics). When hunting with a rifle, a higher BC is desirable for several reasons. A higher BC results in a flatter trajectory which in turn reduces the effect of errors in estimating the distance to the target. This is particularly important when attempting a clean hit on the vitals of a game animal. If the target animal is closer than estimated, then the bullet will hit higher than expected. Conversely, if the animal is further than estimated the bullet will hit lower than expected. Such a difference in bullet drop can often make the difference between a clean kill and a wounded animal. This difference in trajectories becomes more critical at longer ranges. For some cartridges, the difference in two bullet designs fired from the same rifle can result in a difference between the two of over 30 cm (1 foot) at 500 meters (550 yards). The difference in impact energy can also be great because kinetic energy depends on the square of the velocity. A bullet with a high BC arrives at the target faster and with more energy than one with a low BC.Since the higher BC bullet gets to the target faster, it is also less affected by the crosswinds.General trendsSporting bullets, with a calibre d ranging from 0.177 to 0.50 inches (4.50 to 12.7 mm), have BC in the range 0.12 to slightly over 1.00, with high being the most aerodynamic, and low being the least. Very-low-drag bullets with BC's ? 1.10 can be designed and produced on CNC precision lathes out of mono-metal rods, but they often have to be fired from custom made full bore rifles with special barrels.Ammunition makers often offer several bullet weights and types for a given cartridge. Heavy-for-caliber pointed (spitzer) bullets with a boattail design have the high BC's, whereas lighter bullets with square tails and blunt noses have lower BCs. The 6 mm and 6.5 mm cartridges are probably the most well known for having high BC bullets and are often used in long range target matches of 300-1000 meters. The 6 and 6.5 have relatively light recoil compared to larger calibers with high BC bullets and tend to take matches where accuracy is key. Examples include the 6mm PPC, 6 mm BR Norma, 6 x 47 SM, 6.5 Grendel and the 6.5-284. The 6.5 mm is also a very popular hunting caliber in Europe. In the United States, hunting cartridges such as the .25-06 Remington (a 6.35 mm caliber), the .270 Winchester (a 6.8 mm caliber), and the 7 mm-08 Remington (a .284" caliber) are used when high BCs and moderate recoil are desired. They can run on the desktop and on the Windows Sidebar. The Windows Sidebar is a panel found in either the right side (default) or the left side of the Windows desktop. It is integrated with the Windows Vista operating system, the latest released version of Microsoft Windows. The Sidebar is a widget engine for Desktop Gadgets, mini-applications which can be used to simultaneously display different information such as the system time, Internet-powered features such as RSS feeds, and to control external applications such as Windows Media Player. The Desktop Gadget Gallery is similar to Windows Sidebar, but it places the gadgets separately, rather than in a sidebar. It is integrated with the Windows 7 operating system, which is currently in beta, replacing Windows Sidebar.Device Gadgets and Windows SideshowSideShow gadgets is Microsoft's implementation of Widgets which run on auxiliary external displays, such as on the outside of a laptop or even on an LCD panel in a keyboard, and potentially mobile phones and other devices.Windows SideShow is a new technology that lets Windows Vista drive auxiliary, small displays of various form-factors where ready-access to bite-size bits of information could be represented. These include displays embedded on the outside of a laptop lid or on a detachable device, enabling access to information and media even when the main system is in a standby mode. Data can also be displayed on cell phones and other network-connected devices via Bluetooth and other connectivity options. The display can be updated with a number of different kinds of information, such as contacts, maps, calendar, and email. This can then be consulted while the mobile PC is otherwise powered down. Since the underlying platform is so power-efficient, it can run for hundreds of hours without draining a notebook battery, while still providing always-on access to data and multimedia content.Sideshow is coupled to the Windows Vista Sidebar capability that is, Sidebar Gadgets are easily ported to be compatible with Sideshow secondary display applications. Games designed to take advantage of Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection offer Internet play integrated into the game. The Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection can support up to eight players on the Nintendo DS and thirty-two players on Wii. Basic features of the Wi-Fi Connection include worldwide matchmaking, leaderboards, tournaments, and downloadable content. Additional features are available between two friends who have exchanged Friend Codes.Friend CodesEach game that uses the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection generates a unique twelve digit Friend Code that can be exchanged with friends and be used to maintain individual friend lists in each game. Friend Codes are generated from an identifier unique to a copy of a game and the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection ID of a DS or Wii system. Using a different copy of a game or loading the same copy in a different system generates a new Friend Code. In order for users to become "Friends", they must mutually add Friend Codes and will be authenticated as Friends once both have gone online. These measures are said by Nintendo to be conscious steps to preserve users' privacy. If a DS or Wii game is sold, but not the system, there is no risk of the purchaser impersonating the seller. If a user needs to replace his or her DS system, then the old system's Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection ID can be transferred wirelessly, to maintain the user's original Friend Codes on the new machine. Many games have additional features that are enabled between two registered friends.
