History of Stationery
Originally the term "stationery" referred to all products sold by a stationer, whose name indicates that his book shop was on a fixed spot, usually near a university, and permanent, while medieval trading was mainly ambulant, by peddlers (including chapmen, who sold books) and others (such as farmers and craftsmen) at non-permanent markets such as fairs. It was a special term used between the 13th and 15th centuries in the Manuscript culture.
Though decreasingly popular in western culture, stationery has been an important part of good social etiquette, particularly since the Victorian era. Some usages of stationery, such as sending a manufactured reply card to a wedding invitation, has changed from offensive to appropriate. Many of these social guidelines may have been defined by the manufacturers of stationery products themselves, such as "Crane's Blue Book of Stationery" showing so much influence by Crane & Co. that the company name is included in the title, though written by an independent author.
The usage and marketing of stationery is a niche industry that is increasingly threatened by electronic media. As stationery is intrinsically linked to paper and the process of written, personalized communication, many techniques of stationery manufacture are employed, of varying desirability and expense. The most familiar of these techniques are letterpress printing, embossing, engraving, and thermographic printing (often confused with thermography). Flat printing and offset printing are regularly used, particularly for low cost or informal needs.
Styles of Printed Stationery Techniques
Letterpress Printing
Example of inked letterpress process
Letterpress is a printing method that results in letters that are recessed upon the printed page. The print may be inked or blind but is typically done in a single color. Motifs or designs may be added as many letterpress machines use movable plates that must be hand-set.
Embossing
Example of an embossed design
Embossing is a printing technique used to create raised surfaces in the converted paper stock. The process relies upon mated dies that press the paper into a shape that can be observed on both the front and back surfaces.
Engraving
Example of a brass engraving plate, showing heavy wear. The plate is hand or machine engraved, inked, and forced into paper at extremely high pressures.
Engraving is a process that requires a design to be cut into a plate made of a relatively hard material. It is a technology with a long history and requires significant skill and experience. The finished plate is usually covered in ink, and then the ink is removed from all of the un-etched portions of the plate. The plate is then pressed into paper under substantial pressure. The result is a design that is slightly raised on the surface of the paper and covered in ink. Due to the cost of the process and expertise required, many consumers opt for thermographic printing, a process that results in a similarly raised print surface, but through different means at less cost.
Thermographic Printing
Example of thermographic printing. The uneven quality of the text is a result of the process and easily differentiates thermographic printing from engraving
Thermographic printing is a process that involves several stages but can be implemented in a low-cost manufacturing process. The process involves printing the desired designs or text with an ink that remains wet, rather than drying on contact with the paper. The paper is then dusted with a powdered polymer that adheres to the ink. The paper is vacuumed or agitated, mechanically or by hand, to remove excess powder, and then heated to near combustion. The wet ink and polymer bond and dry, resulting in a raised print surface similar to the result of an engraving process.

As expectations regarding good manners differ from person to person and vary according to each situation, no treatise on the rules of etiquette nor any list of faux pas can ever be complete. As the perception of behaviors and actions vary, intercultural competence is essential. However, a lack of knowledge about the customs and expectations of people of Latin America can make even the best intentioned person seem rude, foolish, or worse.

There are several definitions of Latin America, but all of them define a huge expansive of geography with an incalculable amount of different customs, However, some generalizations can be made:
As every definition of Latin America connotes a shared cultural and linguistic legacy with roots in Spain and Portugal, and to a lesser extent France, many points of etiquette in Europe are applicable, especially those specific to those nations.
Compared to much of the English-speaking world, people from areas of Latin America may demonstrate more relaxed and casual behavior and be more comfortable with loud talk, exaggerated gestures and physical contact.
In addition, many Latin American people have a smaller sense of personal space than people from English-speaking cultures. It may be rude to step away from someone when they are stepping closer.
In addition to varying greatly from one individual to another and along various demographic lines, this tendency towards comparatively warm and relaxed behavior does not necessarily hold true among many communities of indigenous peoples, including those who have adopted Spanish or Portuguese as their primary language.
At some finer restaurants, it may be considered rude for the staff to bring a customer the check without the customer first requesting it.
Getting the last snack or canape left in a plate makes the person seem rude/greedy.
It is considered impolite to "toss" objects to people instead of directly handing it to them.
At the workplace, indiscretions, errors or overall poor performance should be pointed out in private. Mentioning them in front of other colleagues (such as in a meeting) is perceived as hostile.
The American "come here" gesture of palm upwards with the fingers curled back can be considered a romantic solicitation.
Throughout Latin America, there are communities of people with strong ethnic and cultural ties to other parts of the world. One example is the 1.5 million strong Japanese Brazilian community for whom certain points of etiquette in Asia may be applicable. Some of these same points of etiquette would apply in Chinatowns in Latin America. Argentina has large communities of German Argentines, Irish Argentines, and so on.
In many instances, points of etiquette applicable to Latin America will also hold true with Latino people in the United States.
Specific regions
The following points of etiquette apply most specifically to a certain region:
Argentina
Apart from going to church, Sunday is commonly the day Argentines gather in family for lunch or dinner.
Table manners are Continental - hold the fork in the left hand and the knife in the right while eating.
Do not begin eating until the hostess invites you to do so.
Wait for a toast to be made before taking the first sip of your drink.
Pouring wine is beset with many rituals and cultural taboos. If at all possible, avoid pouring wine.
A kiss in the cheek with or without a hug is a standard greeting amongst both men and women, except in very formal settings.
Bolivia
There are important differences in social interactions and customs between the Andean area and the lowlands. The following apply mostly in the Andean area.
When hosting you need to serve any kind of food to your guest and insist that they eat. Putting a plate of finger food in the middle for people to help themselves creates an awkward situation for most Bolivians.
Bolivians acting as host will often belittle and apologize for the food they are serving. This is just politeness.
When you finish eating in company, even strangers, you must say Buen provecho or Que aproveche. This is answered with gracias.
In the countryside guests will be served a plate and left alone to eat. This is courtesy and goes on until you've been accepted as a close friend of the family.
Andean people are not very tactile. Rather than hugging, men will tap each other's shoulders. Cheek-kissing with women is a city thing. SDDS stands for Sony Dynamic Digital Sound, which is a cinema sound system developed by Sony. Digital sound information is recorded on both outer edges of the 35 mm film release print. The system supports up to 8 independent channels of sound: 5 front channels, 2 surround channels and a sub-bass channel. Only Cinerama and Cinemiracle have used as many sound tracks. This arrangement is similar to 70 mm magnetic sound formats and is useful mainly for very large cinema screens. Most cinemas are capable of four to six-track stereophonic sound, and it may sometimes be downmixed.
Although SDDS is technically supported by the DVD spec, no current home theatre systems support it and therefore no known DVD titles have been released with an SDDS track.

History
SDDS was developed for Sony under contract with Semetex Corp., located in Torrance, California. Although originally slated to premier with Hook, the SDDS project was delayed and instead premiered on June 17, 1993 with the Arnold Schwarzenegger film Last Action Hero. Since then, over 1,400 movies have been mixed in Sony Dynamic Digital Sound, and as of early 1999 over 6,750 movie theaters have been equipped to with SDDS.
The Code name for the SDDS project was "Green Lantern", taken from a comic book hero and the old term of "magic lantern" used to describe the original projected pictures in the late 19th century. Green came to mind because the key to imprinting the 8 micrometre data bits was to use a green laser.
The SDDS Chief Architect was Jaye Waas and the Chief Optical Engineer was Mark Waring, both employed by Semetex.
The SDDS development took just 11 months from concept to working sound camera, but at the cost of working 16 hours a day, 7 days a week.
SDDS 8-Channels, this logo is used when all 8 channels are used as opposed to the usual six.
Out of the 1,400 plus films mixed in SDDS, only 97 of them to date have been mixed to support the full 8 channels, mostly because most mixing studios are geared towards producing 5.1 mixes rather than 7.1 mixes. Since the additional sound equipment required for 8 channel SDDS makes it more expensive to install, it tends to be installed only in larger venues.
SDDS was consistently the least popular of the three formats, and Sony Cinema Products finally, closed shop in 2002. SDDS is still supported by most of the major studios, but is not frequently installed in new cinemas anymore. However it is still a very active format with usage in over 150 new features in 2005 and well over 100 announced for 2006. Of these, only 5 were in 8-channels for 2005, and 4 for 2006.
The bulk of major cinema release prints produced in Western countries now simultaneously carry SDDS, DTS, and Dolby Digital data (or "tracks") as well as the traditional two-channel optical sound track. The optical track is required on every print, both because not all cinemas are yet equipped for digital sound, and as a backup in case the digital information fails.
Due to their placement on the very edges of the film stock, SDDS tracks are more prone to damage than the other digital formats. As with other digital sound formats, any failure of the digital track will result in a "drop-out" to either another digital format (Dolby Digital or DTS) if available, or (most likely) to analog sound. These drop-outs are audible to most audiences as a change in volume level and a slight loss of fidelity and low-end, although it is more difficult to tell in a properly calibrated auditorium.
SDDS lags behind both Dolby Digital and DTS in deployment due to its late arrival, combined with its reliability issues and lack of new equipment. Dolby Digital is included on nearly all releases, and is often the only track on independent or low-budget films. The DTS track is usually included on major releases, although playback requires matching CD-ROMs which are not always supplied.
See also List of 8 channel SDDS films.
As of 2002, Sony has stopped supporting the SDDS system. A majority of release prints still are created with all three digital tracks -- Dolby Digital, DTS and Sony's SDDS (each digital track uses different film geography so all three as well as the analog track can coexist on one print) -- but most professionals in the industry now consider SDDS a dying system.
From its inception, SDDS had the least penetration of theatre that did install digital...(and so on) To get More information , you can visit some products about hair fabric wig, bottle egyptian perfume, . The S1605 Craft Scissor products should be show more here!

ROM Updates
On August 27, 2008, HTC released a ROM update adding Windows Mobile 6.1 to the XV6800 (Verizon Wireless) variant of the device. However, this release blocks A-GPS access to all but applications which have been digitally signed by Verizon Wireless. Currently this is only VZ Navigator. Verizon has said that they will digitally sign other applications, and hackers have released a software patch which bypasses the limitation.
On July 21, 2008, HTC released a ROM update for the Sprint Mogul, which added Windows Mobile 6.1 to the device. It also added Sprint TV service.
On March 10, 2008, HTC released a ROM update for the Sprint Mogul which enables EVDO Rev. A and AGPS functionality. The ROM update also adds a Task Manager and corrects bugs in the phone's Bluetooth implementation and Windows Live Messenger.
A ROM update for the Telus HTC P4000, dated July 27, 2007, is available. The shipping ROM is available from HTC.
Several ROM updates are available from UTStarcom, including one for the Sprint Mogul dated July 16, 2007 and the shipping ROM for the Bell HTC 6800.
Any ROM update will return the phone to a factory state, so users should backup all data before upgrading.

GPS Compatibility
Users of this phone have successfully installed and used other GPS map software applications (such as Tracky, iGuidance, TomTom, Fugawi, Garmin Mobile XT, CoPilot Live, Google Maps, and Microsoft's Live Search for Windows Mobile), which do not charge a service fee. The map applications are compatible with the built-in GPS receiver, provided users set the appropriate COM port for the map application. The built-in GPS receiver was intended by some wireless providers to be used preferably with Telenav, which is a service that charges users monthly fees or fees based on the amount of downloaded map data. It should be noted that Telenav can only provide map data in areas where applicable cellular phone services are available and that users must have a data plan with their wireless providers.[citations needed]
The GPS may not activate when the phone is used indoors (or without access to clear sky) or if the person is walking very slowly (< 1 mile/hour). External GPS antenna connection provision is provided[citations needed] for clear signal reception. Its important for the GPS to be activated for the various functions in the GPS software to be activated and used properly.

I want to introduct something about Hand Painted Gifts. An exquisite range consisting of over 13 different creations, all of which are made from bonded ceramics, individually hand painted depicting miceThese sculptures are produced in limited editions and have WWF certification. They are supplied with retail ready packaging. In addition to the Mice range we have over ranges of hand carved and painted creations made from wood, ceramics depicting images of wildlife birds and wildlife animals. Hand Painted Gifts (Redirected from Fire cracker)For other uses, see Firecracker (disambiguation).Exploding firecrackerA firecracker (also known as a cracker, noise maker, banger or bunger) is a small explosive device primarily designed to produce a large amount of noise, especially in the form of a loud bang; any visual effect is incidental to this goal. They have fuses, and are wrapped in a heavy paper casing, to contain the explosive compound. Firecrackers, along with fireworks originated in China.Contents1 Culture 2 Legality of firecrackers 2.1 Novelty noise makers 3 Firecracker brands, packs and labels 4 Collecting 4.1 Condition-Grading Scale (G/S) 5 Classifications 6 See also 7 References 8 External links // CultureTwo men dressed as colonial soldiers carry a banner, exploding firecrackers, commemorating Guy Fawkes and his co-conspirators as part of Lewes Bonfire Night celebrations.Firecrackers are commonly used in celebration of holidays or festivals, such as Shab-e-Barat In Pakistan, Halloween, Independence Day in the United States of America, Diwali in India, Hari Raya in Malaysia, and especially the celebration of Chinese New Year by Chinese communities around the world and Spanish Fallas. Firecrackers were also used by the Vietnamese during their T?t festival especially at midnight Giao Th?a (New Year's Eve).Legality of firecrackersFirecrackers, as well as other types of explosives, in United States are subject to various laws, depending on location. Firecrackers themselves are not considered illegal contraband material. It is the sale, possession, and use of firecrackers that are subject to laws. Some states or local governments require a permit to legally sell, possess, or use firecrackers; sometimes with different permits for different actions, e.g., a permit required to sell, with a separate permit required to use. Prior to December 6, 1976, the legal limit in the United States for firecrackers was a maximum of 2 grains of blackpowder (130 mg); after this date, the legal limit in the United States was reduced to 50 mg (0.77 grains) of flash powder.Virtually all firecrackers are scientifically classed as "low explosives" which burn through deflagration, as opposed to "high explosives" such as dynamite and ANFO which actually produce a supersonic detonation wave. Some legal definitions nevertheless define banned firecrackers (such as the M-80 in the United States) as "Class B Explosives" which requires their storage in an explosives magazine and an ATF high explosives license for their manufacture. The legal status of firecrackers typically stems from their notable effect on noise pollution as well as the issue of their safety, especially when used by children. Devices which are designed to explode at ground level are seen as more dangerous than those with a prolonged burn time and/or an aerial explosion. Proponents of firecracker sales sometimes question the consistency of these laws, pointing out that legal fireworks can also be dangerous due to the risk of high-temperature burns (as in the case of sparklers), and that projectile fireworks intended for aerial use can often legally incorporate a noise making explosive device as a last stage. In Malaysia, playing with firecrackers is now illegal as stated from Malaysian Explosive Act which was revised in 1991 as a result of the increasing injuries among children (especially Malay) during Hari Raya festive season. Ironically, the injury cases caused by playing firecrackers continue to increase every year since Malay children turned to home-made firecrackers such as bamboo cannons as alternatives to commercial fireworks. In the Republic of Ireland, firecrackers (commonly called "bangers") are illegal, but they are easily smuggled across the border with Northern Ireland in the weeks leading up to Hallowe'en.In Sweden, firecrackers became completely illegal December 1st, 2000.In Singapore, a partial ban on firecrackers was imposed in March 1970 after a fire killed six people and injured 68. This was extended to a total ban in August 1972, after an explosion that killed two people and an attack on two police officers attempting to stop a group from letting off firecrackers in February 1972. However, in 2003, the government allowed firecrackers to be set off during the festive season. At the Chinese New Year light-up in Chinatown, at the stroke of midnight on the first day of the Lunar New Year, firecrackers are set off under controlled conditions by the Singapore Tourism Board. Other occasions where firecrackers are allowed to be set off are determined by the tourism board or other government organizations. However, they are not allowed to be commercially sold. Some firecrackers are legal but restrictions are in place regarding the amount of powder they...(and so on) To get More information , you can visit some products about china doll tattoos, textile car flag, . It was written by Jonathan Harvey, who appeared in three episodes; as a guest at the series 1 wedding, once as make-up artist Louis, and then as a customer in a sofa store. The theme song for this comedy was ABBA's "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)". It was filmed in front of a live studio audience in Studio 2 at The London Studios, South Bank, London, England.Contents1 Premise 2 Cast 3 Episodes 4 References 5 External links // PremiseGimme Gimme Gimme stars comedienne and director Kathy Burke as loudmouthed Londoner Linda La Hughes and James Dreyfus as her gay flatmate Tom. Much of Gimme Gimme Gimme's humour springs from its lubricious innuendo subplot, which springs from the mouths of both Tom and Linda.Linda is characterised by her red perm, white glasses, and lycra-clad figure. While being boorish and unattractive, Linda is convinced she is a "stunner", and is diagnosed with reversed body dysmorphic disorder in series three. Linda shares a flat with homosexual actor Tom Farrell, played by James Dreyfus. It is suggested that Linda and Tom first met at a club, bonded instantly (due to both being on ecstasy) and decided to live together. What follows is, as writer Jonathan Harvey describes, "one long come-down". Linda often tells humorous anecdotes about her family and childhood which suggest abuse or neglect (such as how she apparently lived in a kennel, slept on a doormat as a baby and how her aunt left her in a car boot for two weeks to go on holiday); however Linda always thinks of these as positive experiences. She also alleges her father now lives in an iron lung although the only proof she has of this is a photo of a sideboard. Linda also lived in a convent and a borstal as a teenager. She has crushes on Liam Gallagher (whom she stopped loving after series one as she "couldn't bring up another bird's child"), Robbie Williams and both male members of Hear'Say. She also imagines having sex with Dale Winton in a toilet cubicle.Tom is melodramatic yet fails in his desire to get acting roles. He believes himself to be truly gifted in the art of acting, and often blames his agents or society itself when he does not succeed to gain a role. He did appear in one episode of EastEnders and often brags about it, delaying for as long as he can the fact that he was in one scene, had one line and did nothing but buy a cagoule from a stall from Bianca Jackson. He also appeared in Daylight Robbery as an extra standing in a queue in the background. He had one line but it was cut due to timekeeping. He insists that the entire series was ruined due to the axing of his line. Tom has an obsession with appearing to be middle class even though he hails from a working class background, possibly because he also has a hatred of his parents. It is often suggested that Tom has no friends whatsoever (apart from Linda and his housemates) but unlike Linda he usually tries to pretend he is popular. Tom is in love with the actor Simon Shepherd.Although they appear to loathe each other Tom and Linda are beholden to each other due to the simple fact that nobody else can stand them. They are in many ways very alike, selfish, unsuccessful, and physically and personally unattractive. The hapless duo live in a Kentish Town flat (69 Paradise Passage, Kentish Town) rented from elderly ex-prostitute Beryl Merit (Rosalind Knight). Other regular characters are the middle class Jez (Brian Bovell, Hollyoaks ) and his wife Suze (Beth Goddard), a horny couple. Many of the storylines revolve around the fact Tom and Linda find Jez sexually attractive while both have a hatred (particularly Linda) for the oblivious Suze. Another returning character is Sugar Walls (Elaine Lordan, EastEnders,I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!), Linda's superstar sister. However many of the other characters can be just as hapless as Tom and Linda;...(and so on) To get More information , you can visit some products about pure silk rugs, democrative oil painting, .
